AMEL 60 - A DYNAMIC EVOLUTION

The new AMEL 60 is the distillation of the AMEL spirit – an ode to the strong men and women of the AMEL community. Every element has been refined and honed to create an awe-inspiring yacht that is unashamedly committed to the binding principles of AMEL design – safety, ease of handling, performance and of course luxurious live-aboard comfort.
The AMEL 60 will be premiered at Cannes Yachting Festival 2019.

The hardtop with sunroof allows the breeze to flow freely, providing protection from the elements when needed. Generous lounge seating and a foldaway teak table make entertaining a joy.

Double sunloungers on the aft deck and a large swim platform are the ultimate spaces to relax and connect with the ocean.

The AMEL 60 delivers uncompromised sailing performance. The new carbon mast, hydranet furling sails, double monolithic rudders and performance keel ensure comfort under sail.

A wide choice of navigation programs include electric sail furlers and winches and the self-tacking staysail. With all controls coming back to the helm station you can trim with the press of a button. Enjoy carefree days at sea whether sailing shorthanded or with friends, cruising long-distance or spending time on the harbour.

Finished in a choice of light oak or American walnut with a matt varnish with high end upholstery, life on board the AMEL 60 is akin to a luxury boutique hotel at sea.

THE AMEL DIFFERENCE

THE AMEL DIFFERENCE

The AMEL difference shines through at every stage of the construction process, from the choice of materials to the internal finish, along with the service provided to AMEL customers around the world.

The heartbeat of the AMEL 60, the Volvo 4-cylinder 180HP low-speed diesel engine, is housed in the unique centre engine room which is watertight, fully insulated from the interior and provides easy access for service. The central engine room is akin to a superyacht and houses all the boat’s machinery, providing a quiet, tranquil environment for all passengers.

Fully designed and manufactured in La Rochelle, each yacht is delivered by an AMEL technician, with a week’s familiarisation so new owners can truly appreciate their superb new yacht.
