REBIRTH OF A LEGENDARY LINE

REBIRTH OF A LEGENDARY LINE

In 1977, the now iconic First range was launched by visionary Francois Chalain, with the birth of the First 30. Now in 2019, over 24,000 Firsts have been built, including 70 different models, with countless victories in international regattas. Now we wait for the exciting launch of the new First Yacht 53 at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September 2019.

PERFORMANCE

PERFORMANCE

Featuring a full plumb bow and a maximum beam further aft, the twin rudders give the perfect feedback to control this highly responsive hull. The 2.5 m or 3 m draught (with lead bulb), with an optional carbon mast, gives the First Yacht 53 the competitive advantage to clock up miles quickly.

The First Yacht 53 achieves sensational thrills at the helm. Thanks to Roberto Biscontini’s intuitive designs, weight proportions and balance, each component of the First Yacht 53 is perfectly optimised for safety and performance.

DECK PLAN

DECK PLAN

Deck circulation on the First Yacht 53 has improved considerably compared to its predecessors. From the helm station to the foredeck, the First Yacht 53 guarantees ease of movement and a flow in structure like no other. Its intuitive design boasts two distinct sections: the helm and a comfortable, relaxation area. Winches are near the steering stations, allowing ease of movement and safety on this luxurious deck.

All these intuitive details make the First Yacht 53 a seaworthy sailing experience on the high seas. She will not only take you far, but keep you comfortable on the deck.

EXTERIOR DESIGN

EXTERIOR DESIGN

Lorenzo Argento, its Italian designer, has succeeded in taking exterior design one step further. The hull boasts optimal control and excellent mechanical properties. The structural inner hull is infused, then bonded and laminated in areas subject to high stress, such as the chainplates and the keel.

With carefully crafted and smart design, the First Yacht 53 borrows concepts that are mainly used on super yachts, allowing it to be optimised for impeccable performance.

INTERIOR DESIGN

INTERIOR DESIGN

The saloon provides a comfortable, home-like atmosphere with two spaces: a galley and dining table to port, with a relaxation area and sofa to starboard. The modern interior decor is timeless and chic with white lacquered bulkheads, together with moulded woodwork and teak floors – perfect for luxurious sailing sensations.

The First Yacht 53 comes with three cabins and two heads, including a forward owner’s cabin. There is also another layout option with three cabins, three heads and a skipper’s cabin. She is bright and well ventilated, with a gently sloping companionway, perfect for communication between the interior and exterior spaces.

The First Yacht 53 is simply the perfect combination of luxury and practicality.
