Sailing the 41.1 is, quite simply, sheer pleasure. The beautifully designed, super-large cockpit is uncluttered thanks to the unique mainsail arch and German mainsheet option. There is plenty of space for six guests to sit comfortably.

The team at Beneteau have shed a significant 640kg of weight from the previous Beneteau 41 so the Finot/Conq hull glides through the water even more efficiently than ever.

The rig is also set further aft, increasing the headsail area and improving the balance of the boat. As well as keeping the cockpit clear and uncluttered, the mainsail arch delivers beautiful cockpit lighting at night and is the perfect mounting point for the your bimini and forward dodger.

41.1 Interior

41.1 Interior

You’ll enjoy an easy descent down the gentle, 45º steps into the spacious, light and airy interior.

This model has more opening hatches and skylights than ever before, thanks to the Beneteau design team implementing owner requests.

The portside galley boasts a large single sink and gimballed stove and a 190-litre fridge/freezer with top as well as front-opening access.

You enter the owners’ cabin through double doors which mean you can really open up the space if you choose.

This configuration allows you to sleep head-to-bow and enjoy stargazing through the opening overhead skylight. You can choose to add an en suite bathroom to the master cabin if you wish.

A Fusion system delivers surround sound and there is ample storage, including plenty of beautifully designed wine racks.

With a new balanced rig and wide-body hull, this is the fastest and most luxurious 40ft Oceanis ever!

Beneteau’s popular Oceanis yacht series has long been a winner in the cruiser-racer market. The combination of a wide beam and roomy interior with honest performance has been irresistible to cruising sailors for well over two decades, especially when coupled with an attractive price.

The new 41.1 improves on this formula to create one of the best 40 footers around for cruising and racing in regattas like Hamilton Island.

What’s better than something that works?

Something that works even better.

With this in mind, Beneteau reviewed its Oceanis 41—a model at a very popular length — and with owner feedback and some clever engineering, launched the new and improved Beneteau Oceanis 41.1 at this year’s Miami Boat Show.

The result is better performance and a more ergonomic interior, not to mention fun sailing, even in light winds.

Forty one feet is a good size for a couple who often sail on their own.

The cockpit is ergonomically well laid out and all sheets and lines are accessible.

With performance sails and rigging, the new stiffer hull and keel design and the already proven hull design, the Oceanis 41.1 is a pleasure to sail.
