There was huge excitement this year at Cannes with eight incredible world premieres on display. The crowds absolutely loved witnessing so many first-time displays, including the world premiere of Benteau’s Oceanis 30.1 and the highly anticipated First Yacht 53. As well as the new luxury AMEL 60.

“What a pleasure it was to be in Cannes for the boat show this year representing our growing company, Flagstaff Marine. This is in our opinion, the world’s best in-water boat show with many of the world’s leading brands pulling out their very best to show off their full ranges to the world in perfect weather and blue sky conditions.

For us, we are proud and lucky as this is the home turf of the brilliant brands we represent in AMEL, Beneteau, and EXCESS catamarans. The vessels and home bases of these brands are second to none in terms of style, innovation, presence and hospitality. This year we were fortunate to enjoy eight brand new public launches across our offering.

In power land, the new Beneteau Gran Turismo 32, Swift Trawler 41 and Monte Carlo 52 are three of the finest new powerboats on offer in their categories and are sure to be a hit in Australian waters. They were displayed alongside the existing range of Monte Carlo, Swift Trawler and Gran Turismo, making the Beneteau powerboat showcase a sight for sore eyes.

One of the most exciting aspects of the Cannes show for us was the launch of the all-new EXCESS catamarans. The first two boats in this new performance cruising catamarans range, the EXCESS 12 and EXCESS 15, were full of visitors from day one right to the end of the show.

Dealers and prospects were putting in orders all week with very positive feedback and we enjoyed the launch night and saw the lucky winner of the EXCESS challenge secure themselves a new EXCESS 11! Wish it was us! It was an incredible showcase of yachts, powerboats and catamarans that we distribute and we’re thrilled to represent the products on offer.”
